Meet our Team

Raymond is a native of Hawley, MN.  He graduated from Hawley High School in 1990, and continued his education at the University of Minnesota, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management 1996.
 
Prior to purchasing Hawley Realty, Inc., Raymond worked as a real estate agent for Cabela's Trophy Properties and Kaiser Properties.  Before entering the real estate profession, Raymond was a manager for NRCS/USDA for eight years, focusing on many varied areas including land use, development, and restoration.  After working in this capacity, Raymond then ventured out on his own to develop his own land management company called Agassiz Land Management, Inc., along with owning and operating a seed farm in Norman County, MN.  This vast background in working and consulting with landowners, homeowners, and contractors, naturally led into a career in real estate, and ensures that Raymond has the wide and proven experience and knowledge to best represent buyers and sellers in their next real estate transaction.

Raymond is very familiar with the Fargo-Moorhead area and lakes area country.  He specializes in residential homes, lake homes, and hunting and recreational property.  His partner company, Xtreme Trophy Properties, focuses on the acquisition and development of prime hunting land.  Raymond has a strong commitment to excellence and personal service.  He strives to maintain a professional relationship with clients before, during, and after any transaction.  He believes in maintaining open and honest communication, and serving customer needs.

 
Currently, Raymond lives with his wife, Lynn, on Big Floyd Lake in Detroit Lakes, MN.  Raymond and Lynn are pursuing building a new home in Hawley.  They have seven children: Britta, Jakob, Gunnar, Carlie, Halle, Haley and Anthony.




Paul is originally from Hawley, MN.  He graduated from Hawley High School in 2000, Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2004, and the University of Mary in 2009.  Prior to joining the real estate profession, Paul worked in sales and marketing for several large corporations.  It was there that he honed his skills in promotion and negotiation.  These are skills that he puts to good use in professionally and ethically representing buyers and sellers in real estate transactions.
Having lived in this area his entire life, Paul is very familiar and knowledgeable with both the Fargo-Moorhead area and lakes area country.  He specializes in residential homes, lake homes, and recreational property.  Paul has a strong commitment to excellence and personal service.  He strives to maintain a professional relationship with clients before, during, and after any transaction.  He believes in maintaining open and honest communication, and serving customer needs.

Currently, Paul lives in Moorhead with his wife, Suzanne and their two children, Carissa and Ashton.  They also own a recreational cabin on Lake Sallie.




       
Ron was born and raised near Dale, MN on a dairy farm.  Ron graduated from Hitterdal High School in 1955, and North Dakota State University (NDSU) in 1959 with a degree in Agricultural Education and related sciences.  Ron also was commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant. US Army Infantry, in which he served from 1960 to 1962.  Ron was honorably discharged as 1st Lieutenant.
 
After the armed services, Ron became a County Extension Agent in Jamestown, ND and Grand Forks, ND until 1963.  Ron has also worked extensively in banking in Jamestown, Crookston, MN, and Hawley, where he retired in 1999 as the Executive Vice President.  Ron is still involved with State Bank of Hawley, serving as a Director.  Ron previously worked in real estate for 10 years, focusing on agricultural, rural, and residential properties, and has now renewed his real estate license to again serve customers with all their property needs.  Let Ron's expertise and experience help you with your next real estate transaction

Craig graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1971 and received a BA Degree in Political Science from Moorhead State University in 1988.Craig retired from the Clay County Sheriff's Department in 2007 after 30 years of public service with both the Moorhead Police Department and the Sheriff's Department. At the time he retired he held the position of Chief Deputy Sheriff. Craig graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1971 and received a BA Degree in Political Science from Moorhead State University in 1988.Craig retired from the Clay County Sheriff's Department in 2007 after 30 years of public service with both the Moorhead Police Department and the Sheriffs Department. At the time he retired he held the position of Chief Deputy Sheriff. Craig is familiar with the Clay County area, particularly the rural areas on the east side of the county where he has resided since 1979. He also has knowledge of the Fargo/Moorhead markets and both the Detroit Lakes and Fergus Falls lakes areas and will specialize in residential real estate and lake property. Having spent years serving the public Craig understands the importance of personal service, honesty and integrity and plans to bring these qualities to his real estate business. In addition to working in real estate Craig does some part-                                            time teaching and continues to do part-time work for the Clay County Sheriff. He currently resides with his wife, Diane  Hitterdal,  in their home of 30 years south of Hawley near Rollag.
